I’ve finally got my new site up and Im working on redirecting my old URL (euphoricbirthservices.com) to this site.  Please be patient with me as a transition and learn how to manage this new format site.

I’m happy to add a blog to my new site so I can update you on new birth related events happening in Delaware, things you can get involved in, new herbal products and different events I will be participating in as well. Another way to keep up with all these things is subscribing to my newsletter, I wont spam you – I usually send out one newsletter a month.

So let me briefly catch you up on some current happenings!

Im THRILLED to announce the launch of the Delaware Birth Network(DBN)! The Delaware Birth Network is a chapter with BirthNetwork National. This has been a dream of mine for a few years and I actually didn’t plan to start it until a year from now. The Delaware Birth Network is so awesome because it blends parents as consumers and birth professionals together so they can become more effective in making change. I am the chapter leader and my colleague, Brenda Fairchild of the Pea and Pod Chiropractic, is the co-leader. She is a Webster and ICPA certified chiropractor and a trained doula herself as well. She is the bees knees – you heard it here first!

I recently participated in The Birth Center Fundraiser doing photo mini-sessions. That was a lot of fun and I’m happy to be able to contribute to a cause I’m passionate about. Here are a few photos from the Birth Center Fundraiser

I’ve finally put together my new DIY Placenta Encapsulation Kits, its available in my ETSY shop and eventually all the products I offer will also be available here too.  Make sure to check out the beautiful cover featuring artwork from The Mandala Journey.

I’m currently working on hosting a Labor Doula workshop in May 2013 with Birth Arts International, Mavis Gewant will be our doula trainer. It is going to be wonderful and we have about 12-15 women interested! This is amazing, we need doulas very badly in Delaware.

I’m finishing up my Certified Herbalist course with Heart of Herbs and I’m enrolled to start Herbal Medicine for Women with Aviva Romm. Its going to be so enriching and challenging, I can’t wait to apply what I’m learning to enhance the services I offer and expand my product line.
